Geena davis is a famous American actress who has been an actor for more than 50 years. Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice star and actor in Mensa who was a part of Stuart Little. The actress received the Academy Award as Best Supporting actor for the 1988 film The Accidental Tourist, for playing Muriel Pritchett as a character in Beetlejuice. Also, she was nominated for an Golden Globe Award in recognition for her role as a character in A League of Their Own. She played a female character as a character in Beetlejuice (1988) which is an American comedy/horror film written and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis is an acclaimed American actor and activist. Davis's work in film as well as on TV has been recognized with numerous distinctions. She is also recognized for her portrayal of real and powerful female characters, as as for her advocacy work on behalf of women. Her first passion was music. In her early years she was born within Concord California. When she was a kid she dreamed of becoming an experienced soccer player. However, in 2002 during the final year at high school, she injured her ankle. The injury healed and continue playing soccer in the forward position at Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill California. In the college, she earned her associate degree. She was awarded Junior College All-American and transferred to Arizona State University, where she ceased playing soccer because of self-doubt. Her next destination was California State University Fullerton. After graduating with a bachelors degree diploma in business administration, and a minor human resources and a minor in human resources, she relocated in the direction of Los Angeles. Her move into Los Angeles after completing her studies in order to pursue a modeling, acting, and promotional career. In the process of searching for a new job, she found a casting notice for W.W.E. Talent scouts were taken aback by her and she received the opportunity to audition for a period of four weeks.
